A RAINY SATURDAY WITH A VISIT FROM DICK JOHNSON

The mood was different with rainy Saturday. The TRUMP forces were tiny yet flags were waiving. It seems the organization will grow in the next two months.

A call to sister Jan was made after a month passing. Jan's happy doing her quilting. As I was

driving over to Birch Hill Road I noticed a Chevrolet truck with OZONE vanity plates. Richard B Johnson had traveled from Leominster to survey the storm's damage.

Dick likes to drive so we headed west again towards Amherst. Our travel is of small talk about years past. Dick turns 77 on October 3! We had trouble finding a place for lunch. Debbie Wong in Ware only does Take Out. Eventually we settled on Janines Frostee in Ware. Masks and all I had a strawberry frappe, something I haven't had in years. Dick settled for a Hamburg and onion rings.

The rest of the day was spent watching baseball and later NASCAR from Daytona where they actually had a crowd of 20,000!

Tomorrow promises to be  clear and cooler.
