A MISTY DREARY FRIDAY

The big news in the Brookfields is Howard's Drive-In opened. Despite the weather, folks lined up in this ritual of Spring including yours truly! I opted for a scallop roll and satisfied my quest. D-licious!

The news is overwhelming and the numbers are staggering. I wonder how we'll fare in the Brookfields? The poor Veterans.

Visited Josh & Chase later in the day. It's nice having family nearby as is having Ben read my blog daily! Thanks.

The weather forecast is a gradual clearing over the weekend.  Next week will be more Spring-like. The daffodils are in bloom and the robins are abundant... yet it will be a Silent Spring indeed.
