VETERANS DAY CEREMONY WBES

Blood glucose 88                      Weight 172 lbs.

Bloody cold  32 degrees.  Spitting snowflakes.

The annual Veterans Day ceremony at the West Brookfield Elementary School was heartfelt. Now I have just two grandkid sat the elementary level: Maddie and Evie.

Red, white and blue carnations were given to all veterans in the audience. Everett Allen, a World War 2 POW received a standing ovation for his incredible story. Everett is pushing age 100!

Patriotic songs were sung instilling the idea of good citizenship. Children read certain passages. Some kids were decked out in red, white and blue outfits as were members of the faculty. I wore my red Jos. A. Bank wool blazer! and U.S. Army tie

This one ceremony teaches the students of what it means to be a Good Citizen.
