I attended both of Clinton's Inaugurals with great satisfaction. I have many photographs and souvenirs. This is the biggest celebration The United States has to offer. DC will be rife with Inaugural Souvenirs from License Plates to Trump's wig!
The D>C> subway system is superior. Book your rooms now. Foggy Bottom is one of the closeby stops. Bring lots of currency as things don't come cheap in D.C.
I stayed at the Allen Lee Hotel and an other dive for cheap money.Shop around.
You can create your own souvenirs at the USPS Cancellation station. INAUGURATION DAY POSTMARK January 20, 2017. If you are an "AUTOGRAPH HOUND" as I am...GO FOR IT! Presidential autographs are supreme in the sceme of things.Same with First ladies.
