SECRETS TO OBTAINING ALL-STAR GAME TICKETS

My sons and I have obtained tickets for four all-star games. Cincinnati, Toronto, Baltimore come to mind and the euphoria of participating in the All-Star excitement (including Fan-Fest) is a wonderful memory for me. Without a doubt, The Sky Dome in Toronto was the best. We drove from West Brookfield up the New York Thruway into Canada. Two years later we drove to DC & Baltimore. Our first game was seen in Cincinnati!

Toronto is a world class city and seeing MLB players in the flesh added a great dimension to our experience. Ben and Josh  obtained autographs galore. That was the year I employed an archaic mobile phone from my bleacher seat calling family & friends back in Massachusetts..

Attending Baltimore's Camden Yard game  in 1993 was another winner. But how did I obtain these coveted tickets? My secret was knowing Dick Fuller of Auburn and the Late Arthur Pappas, MD of the Boston Red Sox. Baseball fans don't not necessarily realize some All-Star Game tickets go un used and are turned in to the front office of a team by active players.

What can you lose by an inquiry? "Fortune favors the brave."

Today's New York Times tells how prolific the bats were in the first half of the baseball season. " "Through Saturday with 3,300 home runs, Major League Baseball was on pace to shatter the record of 5,693...

"THE SEASON'S FIRST HALF WAS A HOME RUN DERRBY!"

Baseball fans cheer for a homerun, regardless!

Names like Jose Reyes, J.D. Martinez, Yolana Alanso, Dee Gordon ans D.J. LeMahieu are amongst the hitters of the 2017 hitter season.

Whether you will be attending the game in Miami or watching it on your Smart Watch, our time is here relax and "enjoy the game!"
