AK-47 ASSAULT WEAPON

"This weapon is made to kill another man!" Such were the words of Sgt. Smith my basic training instructor at Ft. Knox, KY in 1966!
The AK-47 and the American M-16 have been used in conflicts since the 1960's. The Russians first developed the AK-47  in 1947 and the U.S.M-16 in 1957. It is a common weapon used by both the military as well as gun enthusiasts as well as terrorists. Today these guns sell for about $800.00.

The controversy brought about by the two massacres of the weekend lend itself to the reality credentialed gun owners may buy the weapon that shoots 30 rounds at will.

In our society of violence it would appear there's no getting around it.

We kill people in war; we kill the innocence in peace. Clearly this massacre will be just another in the framework of life. It's scary yet the truth!
