Tonight's Ken Burns & Lynn Novick's special was both riveting and revealing. What I appreciated about this Documentary was the in depth showing of the French Involvement historically, in particular, and the early American involvement under the Truman Administration. and the showing of JFK..two interviews I have never seen before. Earlier, I had seen Kennedy's in 1951.
This Burn's Novick masterpiece will serve well for a college course and tomorrow night it will go into the JFK years and Vietnam. I think a video will advance knowledge on a "war that never goes away!" This program is wonderful.
This PBS program gets 5 stars ***** from me as a Vietnam Vietnam (1967) as a Medic 91p20 serving in Vung Tau
