KEN BURN'S SEMINAL FEATURE ON VIETNAM SHOULD BE HIS BEST EVER.

Sunday night, 8:00 PM, the works of Ken and Lynn Novick will reveal much more than blood and guts. The gory details will include how things were in America, music of the hippies and how death on both sides reveals itself to this day.

THE WALL in DC is but one memorial. POW an MIA, again are one signature. The poor soldiers of yesteryear have COPD, are dealing with health issues that tell the truth. Some are even homeless and forgotten. For the most part, soldiers of the Vietnam War were young. I was almost age 24 when drafted.

The Vietnam War just doesn't go away. We were innocent thinking we were doing the right thing.

Then those who  chose a different path of burning their Draft Cards may feel guilty to this day. I saw the world and am a better person for this fact. As Uncle Albert once said "I was a professional soldier."

Military training brings out the best in a person.

Best Wishes to Ken Burns and Lynn Novick and to all Vietnam Soldiers. Have your children and family and friends watch and try to understand the horrors of war.
