MOON WATCH OF 2020

A full moon will highlight our skies in 2020. Beginning of Feb. 9th a Snow Moon will appear .The remaining full moons for the year are:
  • March 9 Worm moon (supermoon)
  • April 7  Pink moon ( supermoon)
  • May 7: Flower moon
  • June 5: Strawberry moon and a penumbral lunar eclipse ( not visible in U.S.)
  • July 5: Buck moon and a penumbral lunar eclipse
  • August 3:Sturgeon moon
  • September 2: Harvest moon
  • October 1: Hunter's moon
  • October 31: Blue moon
  • Nov 30: Beaver moon and a penumbral lunar eclipse
  • December 29: Cold moon
A blue moon is the second full moon in the 28 day lunar cycle.
