This was a day of sunshine! I sat out in the sun for close to an hour. Sister Jan stopped by with Ray and brought news:"The Salvation Army Store in Spencer is closing Saturday; the building has been sold!" I told her the Salvation Army store in Hadley has better merchandise! Today I spent more than an hour reviewing my memoirs. I reviewed letters I wrote to my mother Rita from Hong Kong, Vietnam and Australia.Lord Byron once wrote "Letter writing is the only device combining solitude with good company."
