'THE ARMY" a big and beautiful coffee-table book with a dark green cover and gold medallion, raised relief, was dumped by Nichols College, Dudley, Mass. January 6, 2012. This grandiloquent cover is so beautiful. The 350 pages personify what our United States are all about. Millions and millions of good men and women have served in the army since the founding of our democracy in the 1776 revolution from the English crown.
To see that this great history book shows me what happened to our patriotic spirit: VIETNAM. Where the hell are the U.S. History professors at Nichols? This is such a travesty, a parody, and perhaps a sign of the times.
But there's good news to this blog..I have bought the book and am giving it to the VFW..JFK Building..Boston 1500C. I am pissed and insulted to think a librarian in a college library would get rid of the book. Very bad action. I think it's time to
BRING BACK THE DRAFT! There are millions of millennials meandering around the USA. What they need is a good, swift kick in the ass. GROW UP!
If the roads are clear next week I may even deliver this marvelous book. Maybe, too, college professors need a good swift kick in the ass.? This is serious business if you ask me!
