THE SWELTERING TUESDAY OF THIS DAY IN JUNE

Hall of Famer Connie Mack used the term sweltering as it applied to the weather in June. Swelter means to be suffer or sweat or  faint from heat. Heat stroke is understood. Some of my friends don't endure the heat or people like Son Josh says "I love this weather!"

I love my AC in my repaired Honda. Two new tires and two new rims and a car wash has me back in business. No more, thank you!

The North Brookfield Senior Center had another great meal lasagna and the cherry on the cake was strawberry/rhubarb pie a la mode. There was another decent crowd and I plan on returning tomorrow!

I visited my sister Janet.. a nice visit with Ray then Josh sent me a text saying Chase had a game.. in WB. The boys won and the final game will be in Brookfield Thursday. Maybe the heat will not be sweltering by then.

Enjoy your ice cream and anything else that may turn you on. My delayed supper is old fashioned Raisin Bran. Don't swelter or sweat or faint.
