DO YOU HARBOR YOUR INNERMOST FEELINGS?

Frankly, I don't. My late and good friend "Gracie" S.
LBJ'S AMPHIBIOUS AMPHICAR

had a brand new car which got totaled. Gracie was so upset. I related the crumpled up tin was "just a car." Further, her worries were kept in a clothes basket.

Gracie was like a second mother to me. My advice to Gracie was "try to keep your basket empty!" Good advice.. great advice. Gracie listened to "Old Bob,"

She was a widow who never knew what was like to have kids. I guess it was like having me as a son. Gracie trusted yours truly.

Two "Ministers of the Soul" in my view were Rev. Fulton J. Sheen and the Reverend Norman Vincent Peale that were more like magicians. I don't feel anybody else can compare to their "story-telling" to make a point!

In all of life "we must turn new pages of courage." While complaining is normal, Getting on with it is the best resolve. Problems can be solved. I maintain saying "screw it" or something more caustic allows solutions come your way. THE BLAME GAME doesn't get you anywhere. If it's your fault, damn it, admit it.

Writing my blog is a catharsis for me.

Son Josh just called and what a world of difference that is. My advice to Gracie is the same to me: "IT'S ONLY A CAR!" I AM NOW WORKING ON A SOLUTION: MAYBE A ROLLS ROYCE! LOL.
