MY FLAG DAY IN THE SOLITUDE OF QUABBIN

Lord Byron's famous quote of "there's pleasure in the pathless woods" comes to mind on this fabulous June day. living close to the Quabbin Reservoir gives us options 12 months of the year. Today I opted for a cruise around the shore and even walked to a distant point to the Goodnough Damn. All I could hear were the birds!

Only two couples crossed my path. Both were friendly and I expounded "It doesn't get any better than today. Both agreed. I even worked up a sweat Despite my aging joints I resolved to go forward and I did. My wonderful old Honda still has 100,000 miles to go and I sing the praises of Parsons Automotive. I like their style and they like my money. Maybe I'll write a book on the trials and tribulations of the 30 cars I have owner since 1958.

Enfield Lookout features yours truly I'm actually happier than I look. So be it. Been to the Quabbin lately? GO and work up a sweat as I did.
