OLD FATHER CANT-TELL

It was my last year and semester St. Saint Louis U. By far it was my best time as the presidential election of LBJ was brewing and the World Series came to town... Yankees versus Cardinals. I had a chance to attend games 2 6 and seven and I did! With day games at hand I had to cut my philosophy with a Jesuit.. Father Cantwell. This man of the cloth was ancient. He wore a black leather glove and talked about owning a new Mustang! Strange.

I was determined to attend all 3 WS games, and I did. Every time I begged the man of the cloth to go he retorted "YOU MUST DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO BE A BASEBALL FAN OR A GOLLEGE STUDENT" Certainly, I knew what I wanted.. to be a baseball fan!

The rub came when I had to do a make-up exam. I cheated as his reputation was "He can't tell." It wasn't the end of the world and I got a C.

There was one other occasion not worth talking about. I do know Fraternity brothers had access to old exams of a given professor giving them advantages. And then there's Income Tax cheats. So what's new?
