"ROLL OVER BEETHOVEN"

 I delight is listening to select classical music! At the top of my list is the music of Ludwig Van Beethoven... and the two favorite symphonies are his Sixth and his Ninth. I have been a lover of LVB for over 50 years. It seems his music never grows old.


The Pastoral brings out the best in my spirit. It was composed in 1808. Nature and it's sounds abound in this Beethoven work. The Ninth is a horse of a different color. Remember Huntley and Brinkley news in the sixties? It is the third movement that rocks my soul.


If you are not an enthusiast of the great classics I think you should be. It can be "a thinking man's" relaxation on this lovely rainy day. word has it the worst is over! Tomorrow it will be Chinese at the North Brookfield Senior Center. I have made my reservations.. so why don't you roll over Beethoven?
