TOBACCO'S APPARENT ROAD TO HELL

David killed the giant but didn't kill what killed him: TOBACCO!

The insidious seduction of nicotine on humanity boggles my mind. Equally as boggling are the revenues revealed in today's New York Times by British American Tobacco.

Camel, Newport, Pall Mall, Lucky Strike, Phillip Morris, Lorillard, Winston and many more are in the news. Almost $50 Billion was recently traded to enhance these brand sales around the world.

It's all about money!

Tobacco is another word for wealth. It is also another word for cancer, emphysema, and addiction.

I am amused by the statement ""Cigarette smokers who want to quit should do so." per  Debra Crew, president and CEO, Reynolds America, Inc.

Frankly I don't see smoking cessation as a reality when 480,000 smokers die every year from this dastardly habit.

Reynolds American "reported sales of $10.7 billion in 2015." Amazing. British American has 200 brands in its portfolio.  They employ 5,600 people.

Big Tobacco feeds on mankind... and so does lung cancer.
