MY 62 YEARS OF HAPPINESS

There hasn't been much soul-searching in my life! Sure, my mid-life crisis threw down the gauntlet of change and with proper counsel I straightened up and flew right!

Too many people in this life are wandering around and looking for their panacea. Simply stated they are wandering around wondering aimlessly "what shall I be?"

I have found proper introspection reveals your future so I ask "what did you do as a kid?" Easy, I began to show interest in being a collector. My curiosities were strong. My parents encouraged me as did my family. My enthusiasms in collecting Old Coins, Postage Stamps, Antique Clocks, Pocket Watches and Antique American Furniture began paying me dividens while still in high school. Mrs. Richardson said "it was most unusual to see a young man so interested in antiques!"

I followed my dream. I learned and began to earn. Things began paying off. I had the requisite entrepreneurial spirit and desire to succeed and I did! I sought out estates, had fun doing it and learned the ropes. How lucky could a guy be?

"AETNA, I'M GLAD I METCHA" gave me a decade of doings in the casualty insurance field. My corporate time gave me wings and self confidence. Then, one day in June of 1978 I jumped off of the cliff and flew! "Look Ma, no hands." LOL.

Antique dealers and auctioneers network. It's political as all of life seems to be... and I am finding my hobbies have a Lifetime Guaranty! So now I encourage you to dig into life! "What's your BAG going to be? Collecting mosquito wings? "Seek and you will find!".. and Good Luck.
