THE CAPSTONE OF MY SPACE ENTHUSIASMS 2017

Today, at the Salvation Army Family Store on Route 9, Hadley, MA, I found a treasure: "History of Rocketry and Space Travel ' by Wernher Von Braun," once Adolph Hitler's "rocket boy" with VB's Creation of the V-2 rockets bombing  England - WWII. Bound in handcrafted mission leather, this 244 page tome is one of favorites books I have ever bought. My new book, itself is like a Rocket. LOL I think I'll grace the inside front with "oon Landing cover. My hobbies and interests follow me everywhere. How nice!

Inscribed on the inside cover in black ink, 'John L. Reynolds,' was once the proud owner. Now, Robert Louis Potvin is ready for blastoff...vroom.

I had been at Salvation Army for an hour meeting some great new friends including one of SonJosh's compatriots from Pierce road, WB. Nice guy. We chatted in the shadows of two Spinet pianos for sale. But that was just the beginning of my fortuitous Wednesday on the road.

Returning with my new VIETNAM VETERAN HAT.. my cap is clean to go along with my capstone finding.

Met two white-hair ladies chatting about Public Education. I intervened in my usual humble style (LOL) and had some fun. Senator Elizabeth Warren's name came up amongst other things.

The younger newbie lady is a teacher in Amherst! U.S. History  no less.

The octogenarian, with the slew of gold dental crowns, too, was friendly and garroulous.

This Salvation Army impressed me to no end! In my opinion it is the best Salvation Army Store in AMERICA! Why? It is spacious, super clean and boasts of an eclectic variety of merchandise fit for a Space Cadet like me! This one store is under 30 miles from the beloved Brookfields..a place I call home. It is one SOPHISTICATED  store. Check it out!

I sported an "open sunroof" in the 54 degree readings on my dashboard. Delightful...Delightful...Delightful. and maybe a repeat tomorrow?!

A pit stop at the Quabbin Visitor Center was the cherry atop my Wednesday McDonalds! I weakened with a Frappe', a greasy cheeseburger in paradise and an 18 year old beauty who showed interest in the old man's rocket science book. This one topic will surely fly me to the moon tomorrow night as it will be FULL.

"EVA-Baby Girl' age 48 said "Hi"  while at The Army.I gave her a few tips on enduring Winter and seasonal depression. My advice to everybody is keep busy! Tomorrow, I may just go to Beantown and try to resurrect my $366 from the VA.

So, Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, it's SALAD DAYS for supper and Bolthouse Farms drinks.. They works for me!

SETON HALL B-BALL in one hour at 7:00.

My payload is paying me dividends and I'm having fun. Are you?
