The sooner we slide into the Holiday Seasons the better we may feel!
Today I heard on WJMJ ways of feeling better. Have a small piece of chocolate..help somebody..turn off CNN News.. and so forth. We are inundated in the Corporate trap of commercialism. It doesn't have to be that way.
Salvation Army is my music shop. They have a variety of seasonal music and from year to year I have fun tuning in. Further, my Honda pla
ys music so guess what? Old Bob (Robert) will be taking some Christmas music with me tomorrow.
As I see it we must mix things up not to get down in the dumps. Want a Christmas tree? Be the first in the Brookfields to get one. Tonight I have Charter entertaining me with Sounds of the Season. Who is your favorite? You know mine.. RAY.
We must take the offensive at Holiday time by throwing ourselves into things. I love going to Boston as I have in the past.Christmas is romantic.50 years ago I had a girlfriend who owned a Morgan horse and Pony, Rusty. Yep, a sleigh ride.
The seasonal beauty of Winter rings my chimes. Just look at the Wendemuth Farm. I used to go sliding until I took a spill at age 39 and jammed my rotator cuff! Dangerous stuff for geezers and biddies. Rosy cheeks of my grandchildren says it all.
Christmas can be psychological. I think so.
Baby it's cold outside. LOL.
So, the moral of this blog is to encourage you to live in the present moment!
