VINTAGE THANKSGIVING POSTCARDS

The postcards are beautiful! c. 1910. Illustrator Ellen Clapsaddle  was the preeminent  artist of her time. I was given a Post Card Album in 1978 by Adrienne Greenough of Windsor,CT from her husband's estate. The collection was pristine and a winner! I sold the collection to Sally Carver for lots of money. I was on my way in learning about "signed post cards."

At the Delude Estate auction in 1994 I sold a very rare post card a photograph of baseball players on the North Brookfield Town Common.

I have sold hundreds of others  to collectors and dealers over the years. Post Card collecting is a very rewarding hobby. Every Spring dealers set-up at the K of C Hall in Sppencer, MA offering their collector cards. Several years ago I sold a collection for $1,000. It is a hobby to consider but remember BUY THE BOOK FIRST!
