I wasn't even 3 years old on this date in 1945! Mother Rita told me many times "In March it was 90 degrees..at the Memorial Day Parade in North Brookfield you were bundled up in
snow-suits it was so cold!"
Just now my atomic thermometer reads 49 degrees! Brr.
