If we didn't have rain or snow we would life in a desert. In a month the putter of power mowers will reveal our turfs. Some folks dislike mowing their lawns and others delight in it like I do. Now I delegate the task to Chase-American!

In watching NOVA on PBS last night the plight of those living in Kathmandu in the Himalayans was so sad. Refugees from the earthquake are telling how vicious Mother Nature can be. Not everyone is so lucky as we are. Tornados, too, devastate the worlds of the less fortunate.
Regardless, we need the rain for the ponds and lakes need filling. "The sun will come out tomorrow" and the birds will entertain us in song and beauty. Please take time to smell the roses!
