WALTER CRONKITE

I had a chance to briefly talk with Walter Cronkite while at Cape Kennedy in the Fall of 1998.Walter was affable and agreeable to having his photo taken by me.The occasion was celebrating the launch of John Glenn into space!


I knew Mr. Cronkite lived at Marth's Vinyard. Cronkite was famous for the announcement of the Kennedy Assassination and his  opposition to the Vietnam War and was famous for his closing statement on the CBSD Evening News...             "AND THAT'S THE WAY IT IS."I liked Walter Cronkite!
