Make no bones about it, 27,956 happens to be my loving daughter-in-law, Mass General RN Heidi K. Potvin. I have observed Heidi in training along the highways of the Brookfields. For months Heidi's endurance as a future Marithoner makes me proud.

The Boston Marathon has evolved exponentially in 1896! There's magic in the name BOSTON, historically, sports, politics.. yes even Rosie Ruiz....BAD.
