USED CAR REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE COSTS

Think of it. A car or truck is important to most of us. A schedule of maintenance is important. Oil changes are the most important. In talking with high mileage vehicle owners vehicles last longer by being attentive to their needs.

My Honda has 248,000 miles. To me it is an excellent car. I have no payments. Today I was told I need 4 brake pads and a rotor or two and other needs. Seven hundred plus in costs.

The wisdom of Frank Cooke was "Fix it and fix it again!" He was referring to my 1982 Mercedes 240-D."This car has been good to you, Bob!"

Now I have two new front tires and good brakes. I feel the car is good for another 50,000 miles and more at least..
