REMEMBERING GENE WYMAN - CUSTODIAN

Custodian Gene Wyman was a man with a smile and a voice that sounded like a train's whistle! Mr. Wyman replaced Jack Monahan at North Brookfield High , perhaps, in 1958.

Each day my dad drove me to school early. I would join in with Mr. Wyman who had an infectious smile! He was friends with the entire student body or so it seemed. He was sheepish, humble and a good guy. As I was interested in Vanity plates as a 15 yar old, I drew up a letter for Gene to sign requesting one from the E series. Gene got it E4908!

LAter on Gene Wyman was custodian at the NB Post Office. Today his sons Peter & Paul carry on the tradition of demonstrating the trains roar!

Come along and ride Gene Wyman's train!
