West Brookfield Observatory: At 6:22 Am it is 38 degrees, cloudy, windy and pissy! The overnight weather summary is revealed on my windshields; First, freezing rain.. nice and thick. Then a 2"+ snowfall with a water content bigger than a baby's diaper. Next, a crusting. Very nice I say. APRIL FOOL!
As good as Fijol's Route 9 "scraping" is, the highways in West Brookfield Center are good for a sleigh ride. NO PLOWING EVIDENT! What is going on? This is a Vacation Week from WBES and Quaboag Regional. Obviously there is no concern for the thousands of commuters traveling on routes 9 & 67. Gimme a break. PUBLIC SAFETY IS # 1. ALWAYS.
