RUFUS PUTNAM OF NORTH BROOKFIELD

Although Rufus Putnam lived on Rufus Putnam Road for 20 years General Putnam's fame came in Marietta, Ohio. Friend and brother Dick Fuller was a Putnam relative and actually graduated from Marietta College. An obscure monument near Mendalas Farm can be found.... on the left going up hill..
