GEORGIA PECANS FROM THE HEART

Few will know of Doerun, Georgia. It is located in South Georgia and hosts my auctioneer friend, Col. Maurice Barfield. I esteem Maurice as a good Christian, farmer and auctioneer! We go back to our Missouri Auction School days.


How do I value a 10 pound manila bag of pecans.. mostly halves.. shelled and ready for baking in butter then Lawry's Seasoning. It is a wild delicacy I plan on sharing with Ben & Josh and families and friends. This is a wonderful surprise as I was resting for a Halloween Friday in West Brookfield!


As I wrote this morning "I'm a Happy Apple.".. and you might add "I'm a Happy Georgia Pecan!"
