THE INTRIGUE OF THE MOON

A few months ago I was lucky enough to buy a fantastic book entitled "HISTORY OF ROCKETRY AND SPACE TRAVEL." It was written by Wernner Von Braun and Frederick I. Ordway in 1966! Today I visited the West Brookfield Library to see what books are have on Space exploration. Here's the list: 1. The Space Race 2. Journey to the Moon 3:  DK Readers L# Spacebusters: The Race to the Moon 4. DK Eyewitness Books: Space Exploration.

"Moonshot; The Flight of Apollo 11 6.Astronaut: Life as a Scientist and Engineer in Space. 7. The Moon 8. Astronomy Lab for Kids. 8 The Moon 9. Astronaut Handbook 10 The Apollo Missions and Other Adventures in Space.

I am told by the new Head Librarian, Mary Anne Pelletier, our library as a new telescope as does Chase Robert. The key to it all, as I see it, is OBSERVATION! Observe!Look up into the heavens on a clear night.

Take the local collection of space books to heart. I have for a lifetime. Tomorrow marks the 48th anniversary of our Landing on the Moon. I learned today the Space Suits weigh 280 lbs! YouTube is a marvelous resource to watch Presidend expound why "We Choose To Go To The Moon in this Decade." It seems that was ancient history.

The world we live in today seems to be a Miracle! Agree?

Why not check out the libraries inventory of Space books? Learn all you can!
