Who is to blame for Vietnam? "ALL OF THE ABOVE!" This latest Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, producers, will present a "new 10-part, 18-hour documentary beginning from September 17th, through Thursday,
September 28th according to PBS which will show the series as a re-run on Tuesday October 3 and will run on a weekly basis through November28th at 9:00 p.m.
So what's the big deal now? Simply stated, Vietnam will never go away! "Not since the Civil War have we as a country been so torn apart." If war means progress, look at the technology of the moment.
" We are all searching for some meaning in this terrible tragedy " Novich said. who was born, maybe in 1962! "Rarely seen, digitally re-remastered archival footage from sources around the globe .
Of interest to me will be featured 120 popular songs that define the era including tracks from the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Simon & Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Barry McGuire and many more.
And the beat goes on as Cher still sings.
This special documentary will be a mass production of the Vietnam War! I am not sure I agree with all. It will evoke much heartache.
