Pops passed away peacefully this afternoon at 2:00pm. We're saddened by the loss but comforted that we had the opportunity to say goodbye. To the faithful followers of this blog -- thank you. For nearly 20 years Pops gave us a window into his soul, and he loved knowing he had an audience of faithful followers reading his words.
To Laura and the staff at Brookhaven, we will be forever grateful for the care and compassion you gave Pops over the last month.
Rest in peace, Pops. You'll be missed.
Im so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I met him once at the Sturbridge Walmart many years ago and he gave me a business card (I still have it) of his and told me all about his blog. He was a very nice man and if I recall correctly, even his license plate said "BLOG"? I enjoyed talking with him and reading some of his stories over the years. My prayers are with your family.
