The baseball game in Washington DC began at 11:05 AM against the Nationals. It didn't take long for the SOX to take a commanding lead. The final score was 11-2 Sox! Josh came by earlier with Miley with my "clean" laundry. and invited me to join him later in Birch Hill. There's lots of Fourth July festivities both from Boston and Washington. I plan on watching enjoying everything to the fullest! I enjoyed seeing the Fourth Celebration at Common's edge this morning! Today's NEW YORK TIMES has a full display of the unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united STATES OF AMERICA. "In Congress July 4, 1776. as Free and Independent States". Each signer has their names and states represented. John Hancock served as president of the Continental Congress. His signature is bold and easily recognized. The only Catholic to sign the Declaration was Charles Carrol of Carrolton from Maryland. Later in this Fourth Celebration I drove the Allante' to Birch Hill for a relaxing time with family. Evie was making bracelets as Chase & Lily & Heidi joined in. I came home to watch the two programs celebrating the Fourth. Now I hear the noise of fireworks from downtown. Seems to be the biggest celebration I've ever heard! This Fourth of July 2025 in West Brookfield has proven to be sheer perfection!
