Back in June of 1963 I worked atop Mount Washington in the hotel as a cook. It was a memory that lasted for a month. I experienced seeing the the overhead lights shake as the winds clocked 90 mph. The heatwave in Boston brought everyone to the mountain's summit. I rode the Cog train down to the base station and back.On a clear day you could see the Atlantic Ocean on the horizon to the east.I became bored and returned home to North Brookfield, Mass.
