West Brookfield has lost a pillar of the community, Al Varnum! Please refer to Telegram.Com obituary for details. I knew Al Varnum from boyhood growing up in North Brookfield as do I know his widow, Carol Stevens Varnum. My sympathies to the entire surviving family.
