A SUBTLE SUNDAY IN MAY

It was a quiet Sunday with little to do. After getting the Sunday New York Times I settled in to watching Jane Pawley and CBS Sunday Morning. I enjoy Jane's approach. Then there were the Sunday news shows.

After lunch Josh came over and mowed my lawn which was badly needed. He then began preparing my driveway for a seal coating. Chase will be the applicator.

At 3:00 I tuned in NASCAR and watched the entire race from Darlington! Watching the race was reminiscent of the many May's I flew to NC to watch the races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Good to see America heading towards recovery. Two races next week from Charlotte!

Finally I enjoyed watching SIXTY MINUTES on CBS. The history of plagues and pandemics was very revealing. Seems we are in the early innings of recovery!

"Laundry Monday" and maybe a seal coating on the driveway? Forecast may not be promising?
