OUR INCOMPETENT FEDERAL BUREAUCRACY 2018

Today I received payment from the Veterans Administration! It was a surprise $366.46 for a 20% rating -Diabetes Type 2 - presumptive for my Agent Orange Claim. One year ago I received a yellow colored notice of an undelivered Check. Uncle Sam sent it to the Chelsea Soldiers Home a place I lived for 2.5 years from 2002 to 2005.


I signed it and returned it to maybe to the VA in Boston. For some 10 months I heard alibis and excuses from VA workers. No check.. "You've been paid for it already"  "wait a couple weeks."retorted an incompetent. Finally, I sought help in Northampton. This particular agent proved to me knew " how to get to the printer." Merry Christmas, Bob Potvin!"


As Bill Clinton once called it "The Grinding Bureaucracy." But that was in 1992 in a speech I heard somewhere in NH. When was the last time you had a  friend tell you "I was fired by Uncle Sam!" The whole system seems to be reasonably absurd. People retire in their minds at age 35 and "milk the system" It shows in the slovenly ways of Uncle Sam.


Some Federal Employees are grossly over-weight, smoke cigarettes, maybe imbibe in alcohol and it appears there isn't any Merit System for achievement. Congress seems to be sleeping at the switch. Back-slapping cronyism prevails. Nepotism seems to be a common practice. As in any work environment,

High Achievers should and will excel.


EVERY FEDERAL EMPLOYEE MUST PASS A PHYSICAL EXAM...
given one year of probation to get things in order! Some government workers  will quit. So what. We need a competent crew in the workforce..........................
